
Paul spent his early years in
Colombia, South
America, where his first impressions of movement, art and form were
developed.

He has a B.A. degree from Concordia
College
in Moorhead, MN and M.A. degrees from the University of Oregon
and
Florida State University and was a college English teacher and a
Medical
Librarian before becoming a sculptor. |
Paul studied sculpture at Chicago's
School
of the Art Institute and at the Contemporary Art Workshop, but much of
his skill is self-taught.

Paul's sculptures are found in
collections
throughout the United States and in England, Germany and Canada.

His works are included in the
collections
of Hennepin County Humane
Society,
Express Scripts, Wells Fargo Bank, and Ridgeview Medical Center. |

He has received a number of awards,
including "Festival Favorite" winner at the 2016 Stone
Arch Bridge Festival,
and "Best of Show" at the 2017 Society of Minnesota Sculptors Show.

Paul has been in numerous one and
two-person
shows. Currently his works are on display at Lanesboro Art
Center, Lanesboro, Minnesota.
